The formal conclusion may or may not be necessary for letter writing (General Task 1).

3. Begin with the best impression

During the outline stage, while organizing opinion essay, the students should determine the order in which they are going to present their ideas. The strongest body paragraph should come first. It will help in creating first impressions in the mind of reader. In this way, your reader will be left with good impressions of your essay. 

4. Simplicity in Ideas

In IELTS, clarity of idea is more counted to judge your smartness. Cohesiveness in the language is also required where structure of sentences and paragraphs need to be framed carefully and effectively. Always support your answer with some examples to make the idea understood by the reader.

5. Spotlight on language rather than length

In IELTS Test, while writing a paragraph or sentence, the prime focus of students should be on language. There is no need to be more descriptive if the points are more and word limit is less as per the requirement. Put more emphasis on the language and points than to increase the length of the passage.
